
yesterday we had a vendor luncheon at bar americain (bobby flay's restaurant). no, he actually wasn't there - but we did each get a signed cookbook! i missed the picture of the 1st course (actually jess did so its all her fault!), i chose the red pepper crabcake. it was really meaty and not too much breading = perfect crabcake! above is my chicken pot pie - great presentation and yummy as well. below is dessert = warm apple crepe. it didn't come out warm but nonetheless it was still good. rebecca & i are still trying to figure out what kind of ice cream it came with - it was unidentifiable (maybe vanilla or caramel?) but i liked it.
