salsa night tuesdays

a group of us at my job signed up for "mambo/salsa on 2" classes on tuesday nights at dancesport. last night was our first class and to get us in the mood and lower our inhibitions, we had a "pre-salsa party" in the office after hours.



here's my queso from the jar that i nuked in the microwave and almost melted the plastic bowl along with it. there's also the token jar of salsa and chips to match.





sarah made some guac from scratch and it was super delish! i've never made guac myself so maybe now i'll try. props to sarah for making it here in the office with the least possible real kitchen utensils available - you are inspector gadget!

when people ask me about my job and what its like working here, i usually say that my company is like a frat house because crazy things can happen here.


here's a picture of the lineup of all the drinks. sabrina the bar tender whipped up some really strong margaritas and you can't really see it, but my boss has a bottle of absinthe as well - which is now apparently legal to buy in the US. who DOES that?! apparently us. LOL
