its tradition to spend christmas eve at my house...everyone lugs their presents over just be redistributed back to themselves at the end of the night. kids have to "perform" in order to get their presents -- though this generation is TOO COOL to do anything. back when i was in charge we had a full lineup of rudolph to frosty to silent night! of course the one song the kids this year finally agreed to sing was 12 days of christmas haha. a few pictures from the night - first up, the usual suspects.
my little cousin kristen was born on christmas eve, so we always have a cake for her every year. yup, 11 years ago on that very day her mom had to leave in the middle of the performances to go to the hospital :o)
and last but not least, my festive contribution to this year's party - red & green test tube shots! hahaha gotta love those tooters!
