the story of the christmas gingerbread house

out of my 25 years of life on this earth, never once have i ever made a gingerbread house until this year. on christmas day my mom's side of the family drove down to my aunt's house in maryland. here's the details of the making of the house...we started out with a kit because who knows what would have happened if we tried from scratch.

everyone got involved, aunts & uncles and all the kids...



















eventually everyone got bored with the house because it was messy, sticky work. the only one who persevered was my dad, the civil engineer, who was focused to finish building his masterpiece.



















in the end i guess its obvious that i'm not the only one that has never made a gingerbread house. my dad put antennas on the gingerbread men!! LOL hahahahahah
