solar do minho - belleville, nj

went to solar for a belated bday dinner for gee. i might have told this story before of how we're small/medium/large so i'll just skip it for now :o)

solar has amazing food - portuguese - and their rodizio is super cheap! definitely recommended. here are the dishes from the night:

gee's steak that came out sizzling on this bamboo type dish. REALLY good! i'd order it again.



















jamie ordered the short ribs. i LOVE short ribs but these i would have to say were cut so thick they were a little chewy. i'd stick to the steak pictured above instead.





















i was being adventurous (NOT) and got the paella marinara - always a good choice and i had enough to feed 2 ppl for lunch the following day!

they got dessert - some sort of custard vanilla thing. i'm not much of a dessert person so i drank the rest of the sangra :o)

jamie got gee the perfect present being that she's an aspiring designer - a box of crayolas!
